The Seattle Symphony presents FREE Community Concerts at diverse venues across the Puget Sound region. Created in collaboration with local schools and community partners, these performances are a great way to dip your toes into the world of classical music in a more relaxed and family-friendly environment.
Repertoire includes classic favorites as well as exciting new works, and young musicians from the community are often featured. Whether you are a long-time lover of classical music or are just curious to know what it's all about, Community Concerts offer a place to come as you are to enjoy live music and connect with your community.
Our partnership with the Seattle Public Library system will bring free concerts to local community branches around the greater Seattle area.
At each of the library locations listed below, we will present performances of our celebrated Tiny Tots programs and our Musical Storytime featuring Seattle Symphony musicians.
These performances are best suited for children ages 0–5
As part of its commitment to coaching and mentoring young musicians from local high schools and youth orchestra organizations, the Seattle Symphony gives numerous free Side-by-Side Concerts each season.
The concerts feature musicians from community and high school orchestras performing alongside their professional counterparts.
