For children ages 0–5*
Your family’s musical adventures begin here! Seattle Symphony musicians share their favorite stories, songs and musical games in a series that introduces your youngest listeners to the instruments of the orchestra. These fun, interactive concerts are approximately 30 minutes.
Arrive early for preconcert activities that include instrument discovery, a reading station, percussion play and concert-specific craft in the Samuel & Althea Stroum Grand Lobby. Activities begin 30 minutes before every performance and are free with ticket purchase.
Pick any of four available time slots:
Fridays at 10:30am or Saturdays at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30am.
*All ages need a ticket, including babes in arms.
Neuro-Inclusive Options
In partnership with Inclusive Arts OT and UW Autism Center, we have developed a set of practices based on Universal Design model to welcome everyone to enjoy this programs. This includes a concert accessories checkout station (to borrow fidgets, wobble cushions and noise-reducing headphones for all ages), movement rows and a quiet space.
