During the 2026/2027 season, Link Up will feature The Orchestra Rocks. Through the Link Up repertoire, hands-on activities and a culminating interactive performance with a professional orchestra, we will explore what makes music rock. Featured pieces include "Anvil Chorus," "O Fortuna," "Johnny B. Goode" and more!

• Thursday, April 1, 2027: 10:30am & 12:15pm

• $75 per classroom

• 60% discount for schools with Free and Reduced Lunch percentages at or above 60%.

• No school will be turned away due to cost. If classroom fees are a financial concern, please email the contact below.

• One chaperone is required for every 10 students; chaperones and classroom teachers are not charged.

• An invoice will be sent within 30 days of registration.

• Final payment of the invoice is due June 1, 2027.

• Seattle Symphony is unable to cover transportation costs.

Our FREE professional development video will provide you with the information needed to bring Link Up to your classroom. This includes curriculum overview, repertoire exploration, Seattle Symphony resources and concert preparation. The video is available to teachers upon registration. WMEA Clock Hours are available.

We invite your class to compose an 8–16 measure melody! Works from selected classrooms will be arranged for the orchestra and premiered at the Link Up concerts. The deadline to submit your classroom composition(s) is Sunday, December 20, 2026, by 11:59pm. Application is available to teachers upon registration.

We invite your students to audition to play ONSTAGE with the orchestra! For each concert, we select two to three classes per concert to perform the Link Up repertoire from the stage, rather than from their seats in the audience. The deadline to submit your classroom audition(s) is Sunday, January 31, 2027, by 11:59pm. Application is available to teachers upon registration.
