In our commitment to fostering tomorrow’s musicians today, Seattle Symphony provides opportunities for pre-college students to take their musicianship to the next level. From composing original chamber works that will be premiered by Seattle Symphony musicians to performing onstage as a soloist or alongside symphony musicians, developing musicians craft their art through a wide range of Young Musicians programs.
In this 15-week workshop, students work with a professional composer to write their own pieces that are performed by Seattle Symphony musicians in a culminating concert.
