Are you a student between the ages of 14 and 25? Are you interested in symphony orchestras and excited to learn more about what goes on behind-the-scenes?

The application for the 2026–2027 Season Student Ambassador program is now closed.

Who should apply?

High school students and college students between the ages of 14 and 25 who are: 

• Interested in learning more about all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into creating concerts and events

• From a variety of backgrounds (music/arts experience not required!)

• Excited to attend Seattle Symphony concerts and sharing their thoughts and experiences afterwards

• Ready to help spread the word about Seattle Symphony and Benaroya Hall youth programs and ticket offers to youth in their community

What do ambassadors do? 

• Meet once a month or every other month remote or in-person 

• Support on youth program events such as Family Concerts, Tiny Tots, Community Concerts/Side-by-Sides, College Nights, Youth in Conversations, and more

• Provide insight on marketing to youth and social media input/collaboration

• Work with youth in our partner programs/schools

• Spread the word about Seattle Symphony/Benaroya hall youth programs and ticket offers

• Plan one big event for the season as a cohort

• Attend concerts and give feedback

• Offer input on programming from a youth perspective

• Applicants Notified: By Friday, September 25

• Program Length: September 2026- June 2027
