Jennifer Godfrey has been a member of the Seattle Symphony’s bass section since 1999. Born in Clearwater, Florida, she attended the Curtis Institute of Music and has performed with the Naples Philharmonic, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, among others. Godfrey is active in environmental advocacy, working with several nonprofits on issues surrounding endangered orcas and mature trees, and is in the midst of launching her own nonprofit advocacy group, Orca Nexus.
