Seattle Classic Guitar Society presents Gaëlle Solal

Gaëlle Solal is a brilliant French-Belgian classical guitarist who has dazzled audiences around the world with her incredible musicality and technique. From her early days at the Marseille Conservatory to the Paris Conservatory, Ms. Solal has captivated hearts worldwide in over forty countries with her passionate and soulful performances as a recitalist, chamber musician, and orchestral soloist. Gaëlle Solal broke barriers by becoming the first French female musician to win the City of Alessandria Competition. She went on to win twelve other national and international competitions, including second prize in the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America International Competition. A committed professional, Ms. Solal supports her fellow musicians and campaigns for the presence and visibility of women in the guitar world through Guitar’Elles, an organization she founded. Ms. Solal has taught at the Superior Conservatories of Córdoba and Sevilla in Spain and has presented master classes and adjudicated international competitions around the world.
