Second Violin
Violinist Brittany Breeden has been a member of the Seattle Symphony and Seattle Opera Orchestra since 2015. She has appeared most recently as a soloist with the Bainbridge Island Symphony, Saratoga Orchestra and Wenatchee Symphony. She has also appeared as soloist at the Tanglewood, Spoleto, Vail and Banff festivals.
A passionate chamber musician, Breeden can be seen performing throughout the Pacific Northwest, in the Seattle Symphony's Chamber Series, Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival, Methow Valley Chamber Music Festival, Second City Chamber Series, First Sundays Concerts on Bainbridge Island, Vashon Chamber Music Festival and Jacobsen Concert Series, among many others.
Breeden earned her Bachelor of Music from Rice University with Kenneth Goldsmith and her Professional Studies Certificate from the Colburn Conservatory under the tutelage of Robert Lipsett. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Breeden grew up performing and recording with her family, the internationally acclaimed Magical Strings. Breeden enjoys spending her free time hiking, biking and doing yoga with her husband and two daughters.
