On the 200th anniversary of Beethoven's passing, our own Seattle Symphony musicians curate and perform programs centered around his beloved chamber music for the 2026/2027 Chamber Series. In this April program, the young Beethoven stretches his wings with an early quintet for piano and wind instruments. His art for string quartet takes flight with the joyous first Razumovsky Quartet. Alongside Beethoven's early work, we explore a work by Eleanor Alberga, pondering in music the world of sleep and dreams.
